After several weeks of planning, scouring over coop plans that did not quite meet our expectations and demands, my husband and I set forth to build our own coop using basic concepts and modified plans from all over the internet.

It took us roughly five long weekends to complete this labor of love and we want to thank everyone who posted coop plans and designs before us. Your efforts aided us in building the perfect home for our three lovely buff orpingtons, two dominiques and one adorable bard rock.

We hope you enjoy it too.

This is a great coop for a narrow space- one "people door" wide. Well planned, well constructed and well documented. Nice job!
