We are newbie chicken owners living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
We built our chicken coop by reclaiming an old wood structure we had in the yard (was a homemade cement mixing stand). We also used reclaimed fence pickets. The coop is 41" x 70" plus a 41" x 18" nesting box area.
We currently have 6 hens, 1 rooster, and 6 Ameracauna chicks: 1 Welsummer, 1 Barred Rock, 2 Easter Eggers, 3 Mixed Cochin
