We got 6 chicks about 4 weeks ago, and they've generally been doing fine. We've been going outside with them frequently to let them peck around, and today while we were doing that one of my siblings accidentally stepped on a chick's head. It wasn't bad, she just grazed it, but the chick stumbled back and fell over. We all went hysterical, and I rushed to pick it up and check it for injuries. I saw a large droplet of blood growing from the side of her head, and, again, went hysterical. We've been caring for her ever since, and the blood has stopped and scabbed. She is still breathing, though she hasn't opened her eyes since the incident, and her breathing is fast and shallow. Will she survive this?
