We received our first chicks in February of 2011, after years of asking for chickens on my part. My husband was raised with chickens and his mother has adamantly opposed our raising chickens. Finally, my husband hesitated when I asked again and now spends as much (if not more) time with the chickens as I do! He initially agreed to convert half of a 10x16 foot barn into a chicken coop. Since chicken math has struck, the barn is fully occupied and we have added a 10 x 12 barn and an 8 x 8 barn, appropriately labeled gold, silver, and bronze. Thanks for stopping by!
