Well this is a little better solution. Needs allot of work yet to get it somewhat predator proof. So far i have lost 3 chicks. 1 the day after we received them and 2 when our dogs traumatized them.
Where it stands as of today. I put an apron around the coop and the run had one. They are held in place with landscape staples and stapled to the perimeter wood. I will update this with pics of the insides when i take some.
Taking the pic from the other open end. The wood has lime whitewash on it. And the white backerboard has 3/4 inch insulation behind it. The roof just has that reflective type insulation with an air gap then 3/8 plywood for the roof deck. It should be plenty of insulation and the reflective foil will tell me very quickly if the ventilation is adequate. Still debating on moving the waterer and feeder outside after the run gets wrapped in plastic.
