I like your sketch ups of your walls and ideas. It looks like you created a nice big area for them with that run. The only issue I have is that you used chicken wire on part of the run. Raccoons can climb and I am concerned that they will climb up to the chicken wire part and then tear into it. Chicken wire keeps chickens in but does NOT keep predators out!
From having lived in Florida, I don't think you have to worry about it getting too cold!
