Our Walk In Run And Coops

  1. ThinkingChickens
We started with an odd shaped lower yard in a residential backyard. We wanted a walk in run to accommodate our six chickens and our two Eglu Go houses. Though our girls also free range in a large sectioned off yard we wanted something secure and safe for days when we aren't home. This is our progress thus far.
    The materials arrive

    Starting to frame

    Eglu Go cutouts

Each wall built to different dimensions for an odd shaped yard

    The framing is complete

Hardware cloth and welded wire up. Roof going up

    Finished run with lattice roofing

Interior of run with two Eglu Go cutouts. Coming soon: the swing, the ladder and the salad bar!

Looks like a nice run! More detail on how this was completed would be nice.

A little confused are the igloo things used as their coops?... if so that's a little small for them.
