Hey all!
So a little about my family!
We are a family of 5, with 2 boxers, and a leopard gecko. We live on a private road in a rural area, and all 9 of the houses on our road only have dogs as pets. Chickens are a new pet for us (and our neighborhood). Neither my husband or myself has ever had them. The closest I ever came to livestock were 32 rabbits as a kid.(which means mom & dad did most of the work!)
We are getting 9 all together, 3 buff orpingtons, 3 golden comets, and 3 barred rocks. Our kids are super excited, as are we, to take on this new adventure! We are also new to posting anything online, we don't even have facebook pages! hopefully as we learn with chickens, we can also learn internet stuff, and post pictures to share with everyone.
