Pyncheons are a small breed that does well in confinement. They sport a small tassel on their heads and are clean legged. The standard calls for yellow skin and red earlobes. The breed lays a small tinted, cream egg and is an average layer. The hens will occasionally sit on a clutch of eggs and happily raise their own brood within the flock. Fathers help tend to the youngsters and have good temperaments. They can fly well and prefer to roost at bedtime, however they are not flighty and have a calm nature. | ||||
