This is my first time ever losing a family/flock member. And it hit me really hard when I found my Mom's puppy eating Merlin when he was still alive. HIs whole chest was gone, so I ran back and grabbed my gun and then I shot him. That was most hardest thing I have ever done. I miss him SO much!!!
