Freja- such a pretty girl.
Then there is Thor!
Taming the wild beast!!
Freja checking out the trail cam! Is it time for my close up!
Little Twisty man! We've thought about naming him Napoleon!
He just looks like a Napoleon to me but he knows his name is Twisty, so I guess it stays!
Lavern and Shirly-My two fat girls that won't lay me an egg!

Little Lexi is the most timid and smallest of everybody! She's such a sweetie though!
I think that's Lavern and she doesn't look like she likes that camera too much!

Our black star Hera! She's loud and doesn't like to be picked up and she isn't laying me anything either!

Shirley
Lavern
Just Chillin! My two roos Thor and Twisty right in the front! They are buddies (for the time being anyway)
It's so funny how small little Twisty is compared to Thor but he is is the alpha! All the girls love him!
Even my legbar hens are bigger than than Twisty!
My only layer...miss Liberty my Ameracauna. She lays me 5-6 pretty blue eggs a week!
Little Jazzy!
I think this is Athena, one of my sons EE's. (I have a hard time telling the two apart unless they are next to each other)
Twisty man!
Thelma or Louise, my heritage RIR's.
Well that's it for the updated pictures!! I really want a few more chickens but the hubby said no until next year!!!
OLDER Photos
Well after having some bad luck with a predator and completely re-fencing their run (looks like alcatraz) we decided to go get some more chickens so here's some pictures of our flock now.
We picked up a couple adult (1-1/12 yrs) Brahma hens...Lavern and Shirley shown above.
My son also picked out 2 EE's which he named Diana and Athena, shown below...I still don't know which is which!
Then we picked out an Ameracauna that we named Liberty(below) ...she's bald from all the Rooster attention she had been getting but should be able to grow her feathers back before our boys are big enough to start doing anything. Though our little Thor is trying the girls put him right in his place.
And last but not least we picked Hera, a little black star with a big voice!!
Add that to the existing flock and I think we are well on our way to having a very colorful backyard flock!
I guess I better add some pics of the babies so they don't feel bad! Ha Ha Ha
This is an old pic but I just love it so I had to add it in. This is our cream legbar Lexi at about 4 1/2 to 5 wks old.
Freja our SFH at about 5 wks or so.
Thor and Freja the SFH's at 5 wks
Our two RIR's Thelma and Louise-can't tell them apart so we just call them as a set!
Jazzy our cream legbar at 5 wks
Twisty our Cream legbar cockerel during and after his bath!!
Well I think that does it! Thanks for looking at my chickens!
