My name is Shelly and I live in Southwest Missouri. This is my first year raising poultry and I am addicted. I currently have 18 mixed chickens (4 roos and 14 layers) including Rhode Island Reds, Dominiques and Barred Rocks. I also have a turkey (bourbon red), 6 guineas and 3 ducks. I have asked for an incubator for Christmas so I can "make" more!!
My sweet hubby is so tolerant. When I show up with something new (last time it was a girl pekin, all I had before were boys) he just rolls his eyes and helps me. Oh yeah, I am a proud mother of four in addition to being a chicken mama.
