Store-Bought Eggs vs Backyard Chicken Eggs

GREAT ARTICLE, WISH I COULD GET IT EASIER TO PRINT VERSION
I understand why more couldn't be said about "factory hens" on here, which can be too brutal to recount....suffice it to say that the MOST gratifying thing about my B-Y "girls",is the way-and the FREEDOM-they get to ENJOY their life, while laying the BEST eggs ever! PROOF? My Buff Orpington will be going into her NINTH year--STILL laying PERFECT eggs EVERY DAY!
Good information, clear, understandable, good illustrations.
:thumbsup

Note: I can't eat store eggs without getting sick, but I have no issues eating eggs from my flock. I wonder why? Are there medicinal or other additives to the commercial chickens' feed?

That might be something worthwhile to research.
The biggest difference between the BY egg & storebought, is after I've eaten a fried egg from the store, I'll burp stale egg taste for the rest of the day. Gotta love my BY girls.

Loved the calendar this year!
Very fun article😊 Well done ! I love have my own supply of fresh eggs.
We haven't had a store-bought egg in the decade that we've owned chickens so I forgot how good we've got it! It was neat to see the many differences; some I knew, some I forgot, or didn't know. Great article and cool graphic!
Very thorough comparison between backyard and store-bought eggs. My only comment is that I've never gotten orange yolks from my birds, even though they eat like kings. It's possibly more common in free-range flocks with a more varied diet (like you mentioned). Nicely done! 👍
That was a fun to read article regarding the differences between commercially produced eggs and back yard produced eggs! The printable poster is cool! 😊
Interesting to see how store bought and backyard eggs differ. And the printable chart is nice too!
