Our mission at The Berry Patch has been to provide low-cost Organic fruits and berries to our community keeping the low-cost standard our main practice. We are family oriented and love to have children at the farm anytime!
Recently, my husband lost his jo and got an itch up his sleeve to start raising chickens and pheasants here. He is so excited to start selling brown eggs. His favorite thing in the world!
Well we are just starting out in the world of raising chickens and love it already. My husband is totally obsessed, he found something he truly loves to do and I am glad for that!
We have 15 chickens all together. 1 Rhode Island Red Rooster (Adopted), 1 Barred Rock Rooster (Adopted), 2 Golden Comet Roosters, and 11 Golden Comet hens. The Barred Rock is my personal favorite!
