Design is the Daisy Coop from Clean Coops. Once the coop is built, the idea for design can go anywhere! That is what is so fun about coops. I decided to use a brick façade with white trim so that it would match our house. We have a red brick house with white trim and black shingles.
Changes we made from the original design were a wider ramp with the addition of non slip (traction) tape, an automatic solar powered door, and covering the underneath of the coop with a sheet of OSB as well as the walls to help with insulation.
Changes on the inside consisted of adding additional roosting bars, insulating with foam board (not shown in picture), and adding panel board for easier cleaning.
Looking forward to Spring so I can add some pretty flowers.
