When?? To Introduce my 4 littles to the 2 bigs

My two hens are two.. There are the only two hens right now but they haven't always been just a duo.. They were once a 12 girl crew.. Will it be easier to introduce the new crew into the duo? They have seen the babies that's it, I haven't let them really approach they brooder really, yet ..but as of tomorrow weather permitting I'm putting them outside for a while, and they will be safely in complete view of my 2 year olds which will help for later (plus I'm integrating them with chicken wire seperating them until I'm comfortable) they Chase wild birds away (finches chickadees bluejays) the hen that's lower in the pecking order does the chasing off..
so I'm wondering how the boss of the two will handle the new chicks?.. She's interested, she liked them.. I could tell cuz she talked to them..I feel like cuz they were raised in a large flock it won't be too too hard.. Got a ways to go before that happens so I may as well inquire now...
