Which breed of chickens to choose when starting your flock life

Good article, though sometimes it can be confusing to read, due to grammar errors.
Adding more breeds to the list would improve the article, as well as the number of eggs per year and more info on the breeds.
Also, it probably should note that the ‘friendliness' or aggression of a chicken is not purely due to the breed, and that you may get flighty buff Orpingtons or aggressive plymouths rocks.

Nice evaluation of your personal experience. It would be good to have a little more science about laying, etc. and it would make it more personal if you took photos of your own lovely ladies instead of using stock photos like the Murray McMurray catalog photo of the BO.
