While I agree the second is better, the fencing is actually worse. The first one has 1/2 HC but is of course not a good coop. The second has chicken wire which predators can easily rip through. Better than the original, still not great.

Sorry, but sorely lacking details, especially about ventilation.
"Sturdy" coop(pic from web) does not look to have the mentioned space requirements.
