I had a few BA’s for a while, and I have one old hen left, but among them, I had a BA rooster, Licorice. I loved that rooster, he was my first rooster! But sadly as he got older around 4-5 his legs splayed out, and he passed. I think he may have had arthritis.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
