I thought I'd told the woman at Ideal that I wanted my order to arrive the week of the 26th, but maybe I forgot. Whatever happened, they arrived on what may turn out to be the second coldest day of the year. Thankfully, there was only 1 that was DOA. A second was close to gone when I picked them up but was able to snuggle up to the towel I'd wrapped around some hand warmers and is fine now. I ordered 25 pullets, I think I'm counting about 25-26 running around (can't determine the packing peanuts from the pullets yet).
