state of emergency....heres why....mind you this is ice and sleet....
just took these.still commin down we are supposed to get an inch tonight and inch tomorrow and wednesday!
they are expecting power outages and downed trees also.

Get on that yarn Scoot, ya gots some booties, mittens, scarves and all to be churning out. lol
 
THey put OK on a state of emergency for that? Is it straight ice or snow too? Around here the get dont even get a snow day until it is -15F with a wind chill.
 
its not snow its ice and sleet with more ice comming down as i type. they are calling for up to 3" of ice here

I hate winter.

We are supposed to get another foot this Wednesday. Starting in the early am. Yay me. I get to take the kid to work with me!! Wooo Hoo.

At this rate they will be in school here til the end of June despite the fact they canceled Feb vacation to make up for lost days(ice storm) already
 
Just made it home, took three times as long. 30 mph, max. Sleet and rain, supposed to get an inch or 2 of ice, then 2 ft of snow.

took hubby 35 minutes to get home tonight his work is about 5 minutes away....really bad out there.
