The sheep come to the barn door and hope for a sprinkle of corn to be given out. As do the guineas.

The white one is one of my border leicesters.

Dorcas is my favorite. I wonder how many babies she has in there.

And one of my girls from last year that is a cross bred variety for meat.

I like them. They have come a long way from the buck wild ewes that came here. We can touch them and feel their wool now. Before you couldn't get near them without a feed bucket!

WOW! Miss Prissy, is there ANYTHING you don't raise? Besides cain?

Pretty sheep, and if this becomes a guessing contest about Dorcas, I say 2!

The border leicesters (pronounced 'lester') are for spinning. The other sheep's wool will be used for quilt batting.

Ranchhand - I am wondering if she has 3 in there. LOL She is so wide. Much wider than the photo indicates.

She was bred when I got her. The teenage boy I bought her from said he could only guess feb or march. I keep watching her udder for signs of bagging up and so far we don't see anything!
