step 1: figure out what type of chickens you like.
step 1 1/2 buy more land
step 2: buy 5 hens of every breed you like and build several breeder coops.
step 3: buy one rooster of every breed of hen you bought.
step 4: put hens in each breeder coop.
step 5: put rooster in coop wwith the hens of the same breed and wait.
step 6: buy lots of bators and build a brooder for each breed.
step 7: enjoy all the chicks you get
step 8: repeat with geese, ducks, turkeys, and other poultry.

Is that how you do it.... I keep forgeting step 1 1/2....... which is probably why I keep buying more chicks......

AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaghhhhh! I was hoping there was a cure...that's no cure!

It's just a different, related disease...I guess I really know better. My little sister (31) was here yesterday and asked me if I wanted more kids or something. The nurturing thing...I told her not really...I love my kids, but chickens are cheaper.
 
I already have the cure. He's 6' 4", about 270 lbs. and every time I mention chicks he reminds me the coop has room enough for one more - ME.
