It was gorgeous for most of the morning/afternoon! around 44°F until it started pouring around 3. I spent like 6 hours outside it was so nice and finished building the new run AND the ground thawed enough (with a little help from the hose lol) that I could install my electric fence

While the brook on my property is RAGING right now I'm happy the snow is melting and the ground starting to thaw!

It's been above freezing for a while, rain on-and-off. The snow is melting around the trees.
I have to remind myself it's only mid-March and that the soonest the snow has disappeared here is late April, usually it's in May. I'd rather be a surprised pessimist than a disappointed optimist

It's been in the mid/high 90's here. Hooked up the water misters last week to help keep the girls from heat stroke. Now to play the game of having some mist in and some mist out of the run.
