Thanks - That's Skye, our new pup. She's border collie/plotthound, with a big chunk of "just-plain-crazy" in there somewhere. She's also extremely smart and very, very sweet. I am absolutely floored at what some people "throw away!"

What’s your main reason for joining our community?:
To connect with other backyard chicken people & help save the Nankin Bantam Chicken!
Mother to two human teenagers, four cats, two dogs, a horse, six Guernsey cattle (4H lease projects) and my feathered friends: nine Nankin Bantams, a bunch of bantam teenagers - Sebrights, a Red Pyle and a BBR cockerel - both OEGBs and a pair of Porcelain D'Uccles (hooray!) ... and then there's Herman, our blue splash Silkie ... the resident "House Rooster." Except for the Nannies, the kids and the cows - everything/everyone else is a rescue. Now someone needs to rescue ME!
