If you have hatched any Suede/Meg babies, please post your pics here!

pretty chickens...now where do you live? How fast can I get there? When aren't you home?

can't wait to see the bottom one all feathered out, she'll be gorgeous.

crazyhen had posted this picture elsewhere on the board. Gloria Jean, I hope you don't mind me reposting this picture in this thread since you've been out of town. Here is one of Meg's kids at five weeks old (pretty sure it's a pullet from that pic)

These 2 were hatched from Meg's eggs on 3/13/2009.

Here they are today 4/11/2009, almost 1 month old. I think maybe 1 boy and 1 girl. What do you think?

One of my favorites (sadly no Suedlettes yet) is a buff Brahma/white Rock mix.

That chick looks like it belongs to the pretty girl behind Meg, doesn't it? You sure Meg isn't an eggnapper?

Nope, that really is the chick of Suede with Meg. We have found out that Suede has a hidden barring gene that manifests on rare occasions. The Orp pen is completely separate from the BR rooster's domain with very tall fences. That one had me stumped, too, then after some investigation, we solved the mystery.
