I'm betting he will be close to the size of my Giants ..... Polly sure is. I am gonna get a picture of her with the Giants .... you won't believe her size! So, I know Roosevelt will be HUGE. I LOVE super huge birds!

He might be good for a red Orp project, though you'd have to breed out the yellowish legs he got from his 1/4 RIR part. His mother, Meg, is half RIR, but has white legs like her Orp mama.

Gosh, I love Roosevelt! I'm still planning my road trip. Gotta wait till payday, though *sigh* But it gives me more time to work on the coops! He's such a studly young man, isn't he?

Updated pics of Roosevelt today. This boy is getting so large, I hope I don't have to try to find him a home locally. Catt, sure hope you can get him soon. Not sure about these people around here, unless they are BYC folks, who at least have access to good information about proper flock management.

He is slow to get his tail, just like his daddy, Suede, was, but it's coming in, bright flaming red.

Updated Roosevelt pics. Big red turkey wouldn't let me straighten out his wing for him before his photo shoot, but you can see his saddles coming in and the stubby tail finally making an appearance.
