SettlersDreamFarm - My barred rock x buff orpington looks a lot like your rooster. Could be the cross that made him.
Here's a mixed breed for you:
He's an oriental gamefowl (Aseel/Asil) x American Gamefowl, and he's just under a year old.
She's a silkie x [old english game bantam x silkie], and she is just under a year old.
