I'm on a picture taking roll right now, so I took the Cochins out for their first photo shoot...

And this is my all time favorite picture that I have ever taken of ANY of my birds!!! It think it looks like a post card that should say "Howdy, From the Farm!"

I wish my SO liked white chickens, because I'd like my entire flock to be white. Nothing prettier than a white chicken against a landscape of green. Your pics are gorgeous

I like white too, but white Silkies are the most competitive and usually the largest class at the shows. I like to be different, which is why I chose buffs, lavs, and black/blues. But I agree, nothing like a white bird! So I chose Cochins... LOL

You need to put me on our list for white cochins

I only have one white roo, one white straight featherd hen and one white frizzle. Couple of chicks in the brooder but that is it.

So Christopher.... let's see pics of your show silkies!

Great images.. what camera are you using?

Believe it or not, its a Fujifilm point and shoot. I'm looking into a new Olympus E520 dSLR at the current time.

I've got training in 35mm and Medium Format, I just haven't moved into the digital world yet. I used to work for a professional photographer shooting weddings, events, and portraits.
