ok. so i was making a cake. i used 2 eggs from the store, and 3 from the chickens (equaled one egg, 1 was the first EE egg, 2 were banty eggs). i was marveling the fact that my EE's egg was darker than the 2 banty's eggs, and the fresh eggs were way darker than the store eggs. while i was noticing this, i saw the little target thingy inside 2 of the yolks. white? target thingy? someone posted a pic of it saying it was fertilized. i only have 2 chickens (and a baby chick, but i'm not counting her in this toll) both have laid eggs.
i am really confused. i know what i saw. i took a pic on my phone, but nothing came out. i need to get a digital camera, just for occasions like these lol.
i forget who posted it, but my eggs looked exactly like the fertilized eggs with the target.
