¿How many wine makers do we have here? I am having a sip of strawberry wine right now.

I might try to make some berry wine when our wild berries come in... my uncle makes all kinds of wine and said he would come down and show me how. I like the strawberry kind... yummy

there`s about 200 gallons of it in my kitchen right now. Hubby makes it. When he complains about my chickens I remind him I have to work around his wine. That usually quiets him right down.

Do you guys have muscadines growing on your property or growing around you?

We have both wild muscadines, and a "vineyard" with about 20 plants or so. We also have blueberries, pears (three varieties), persimmons, and .... I think that's all.

me and my dad make wine, we just put in 60 new vines

What would it take to get a couple of wild muscadine 1 or 2 year old vines off of you?

Buy the book "The Joy of Home Wine Making" by Terry Garey. Basically you put yeast into a fruit or fruit juice and let it ferment. Not that easy of course, but this book is an excellent instructional manual, with recipes for all kinds of grapes, fruits, and other types (potato, flowers, etc..
