So here's the chick the momma left when her first chick hatched... two weeks ago.

It had a medium case of splayed legs so here he is under physical therapy!

1/2 RIR, 1/4 blue laced red wyandotte, 1/4 blue cochin

Silkie, can you explain what splayed leg looks like? I got a chick from Ideal that has one leg that sticks out in front. It gets along fine, getting stonger and less noticable each day. Is this splayed leg? It looks like a hip issue. It is 5 days old.
 
My kid is nowhere near that bad. It is just one leg. Will try to get a pic tonight to see if you think I should intervene.
