I cant believe I am actually asking, we have had such bad luck with our first set of chickens... I am worried but go ahead.. tell me what gender you think she is...

The spot on "his" head is all over the place, girls are more tight and uniform. Although there is slight black on his legs right now, it will probably go away as he gets older. It's a boy.
 
Some things I've read on BYC re sexing Barred Rocks...a small distinct dot on the back of their head= hen. A very large or even 2 overlapping dots = roo.

Also, re down color - very black = hen and more silvery/frosty color = roo. Finally, very dark color on front of legs = hen and little or no color on front of legs = roo.

They can fool ya though at the young age of your chick. It might be a tad early to tell. Maybe give it 2-3 wks and then repost some updated pics. I'm actually going with your chick being a roo though, sorry.
