I recently recieved my first order for several colors of spiral leg bands from one of our BYC members, The Hoof and Hen Ranch. What a GREAT place to buy. I could order as few or as many as I wanted in any of the many colors that I wanted for 19 cents for each Plastic Spiral ID Bands. I ordered as few as four of one color and 30 of some other colors.
No place else on the internet will sell the exact number that you want to buy; they make you buy the amount that they want to mess with, and they charge you more.
BTW Shipping was dirt cheap too.
Just can't say enough good things about them.

Okay, this is a dumb question, but the heck do you get those on the chicken leg? I keep trying to visualize it and it's not coming to me...

Just received my bands today. Ordered them on Monday. The web site was easy to navigate, they had a whole assortment of colors and sizes, check-out was easy enough and shipping was cheap and very fast. I am very happy with the order and will definately order from The Hoof and Hen Ranch again.

Thanks for posting about Hen and Hoof. I ordered spiral leg bands for my small flock and got the exact correct amount of colors/sizes that I needed.

They even sent me a small sample bag of different sizes and colors. Great product, great price! Thank you!

I received mine yesterday...plus samples. This is a great place to order from..$0.19 ea. and they don't try to make money on the shipping...highly recommend!!

I've ordered twice from there in the last month or so. I also got the cute egg basket.

BYC members and returning customers get a discount too.. Hoof and Hen has a thread in the Buy /Sell section with the discount code.

Happy shopping!

They wrap around the leg. They are plastic and overlap at the ends so they don't come off.

UNLESS you put to big of ones on LOL my daughter and I struggled to carefully wrap them around the little ankles of two week olds only to have them step right out of them!
