Chicken Little hatched 12 chicks, two died. We have 10 chicks now

Oh, the chicks.

We got 8 Lavender Orpington eggs and 8 Sussex eggs, and 4 "mongrel" eggs as I call em.

We have 4 sivlery/grey chicks, and 6 yellowy chicks. Some of the yellow chicks look dirtier than the other yellow chicks.
 
Congrats on the hatch! 10 out of 12 is a very good success rate! Very cute pictures, the chicks are beautiful

I can't believe how green your grass is! Mine has been yellowing for quite some time. Keep us updated, I am curious to see how the chicks look when they start feathering.
