With sadness,I'm here to say that one of my two week old baby chicks got eaten by hawk. My broody hen hatch , two beautiful baby chicks, and unfortunately today one of them got eaten. I Was really trying to have them be raised outside with the flock. I'm currently on my way to a feeder to get two baby chicks. I placed to fake eggs underneath the broody hen. I have also placed the remaining baby shake and broody.Hand the mom and a brooder in my house. Now my planet is to place the baby chicks underneath the mom at night.Time and take away the fake eggs. My question now is can I introduce the baby chicks to the flock little-by-little?Should I place the bruter outside during the day or what do I do?How do I introduce them now. Because my flog was getting used to these baby chicks. And now all of a sudden I have to take them away and put him in my house on a brooder. I really need help answering these questions as I am a little lost and a loss of words for that cute.Little baby chick that we lost. Thank you for your time for reading this and thank you for those who respond as well.
