I had a bit too much time on my hands today so I baked up some treats for the flock.
The little ones are Serama sized

My chickens want to know if they can some stay at your house for about a week next summer - they are giving me the stink eye now!

I have placed the muffins on my webstore

3 cups scratch grains
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup flax seed milled
1/2 cup grits
1/2 cup medium milled cornmeal
1-2 cups oats
1 Tbsp honey

Additions: bird seed, sunflower seeds etc

Put all ingredients in big bowl, add hot water til mush-like consistency.
Put in greased pans and bake at 350 for 1.5 hours or til top is hard when tapped.

Yummy!

Mine would love those. I scatter wild bird seed for them for a treat and they love it. They hear the bag and they come running. So I imagine they would love the muffins. But
