I am considering rehoming my Blue Andalusian cockerel. He is a pretty boy and very tall and leggy. Huge comb, pretty color, more atitude than I can deal with. He has not been aggressive towards me at all, he just tries to get away from me for now. But he wants to fight with my older rooster and is the one who is going to get the boot.
I am still tossing this around to see if there is any interest in him. I have 4 Blue Andalusian girls (2 blue, 1 splash, 1 black) and so was keeping him to have a separate breeder flock, but decided to go with a single large flock with only one roo and he is not the one who won the coin toss.
He is very bossy. Was raised with a Rhode Island Red cockerel who he keeps very much in check, even though Mr RIR is much much bigger than him. I think he will be a good protector once he is older as he has shown a few moments of calling the girls or leavnig the coop to try to round up the stragglers. He is young and has just as many bad moments as good though
Any interest? I am near the Knoxville area.
