Granny's gone and done it again

As our prayers and thoughts continue with Granny, Robert, and Nancy, I know Granny would want us to keep the thread going by sharing our daily activities.
Today I need to do a bit of grocery shopping. Austin is working here at home today to take care of the kids. I have to admit, I like it when he works from home. :)
Bronwyn's sister is coming on other days.
Im so proud of our Lacy when it comes to asking to go out. Now I'm dealing with her chewing things that's she never bothered before. Yep. Losing baby teeth. I bought a new chew toy. They like new chew toys.
Have a good day all.
Granny we love you and are praying that things will go as you would like as you continue to take care of your Tom now. 💙

Good morning Granny Land. As Cynthia12 said we need to keep the thread going as we mourn with Granny. Our thoughts and prayers are with her today. I don't have a lot planed for today just routine housework and preparation for visitors at Thanksgiving. Hope all of you are well.

My heart goes out to you, Granny and Robert. It gives me warm feelings to know he wanted to be at home with his L❤️ve so very much and Granny worked so hard to make it happen even if it was difficult. That is truly a love story

Had DH admitted to the hospital yesterday. Try as I might, I could not get him to eat and drink. The chemo really suppresses the appetite. At the recommendation of his GI, we will have a discussion today about putting a peg tube in his abdomen for nutrition before he comes home . He can still eat but mouth but additional nutrition and fluids can be administered through the tube.

Good morning, Grannyfolks! I agree, let's keep this going. This has always been a wonderful place to hang out and share. Granny made this a home for all of us.

My plans today are to go to Cape again. Cape Girardeau, about 2 hours from here. Melissa will drive, as usual but we will go in my car, it's bigger and more comfy than hers. Today I'll be going to the pain clinic where I'll be getting a shot in my femur/ hip joint to loosen that up. May get shots in my knees too. I feel like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, those old joints just get so creaky and stiff over time! We'll be leaving here around 10:30, appointment is at 1:20 but they want me there at 1:05. It's a beautiful day for it, may get up around 70! Amazing for mid-November.

I agree. Need to keep things going. I haven't been around the forum much. Busy with life, stress, getting ready for winter, DH and I trying desperately to get our legs back under us after his two surgeries and my one and discovering that in the first half of our 7th decade, we aren't springing back as fast as we thought we would.

I'm going to try to do better but keeping Granny, Richard and all of you in my prayers if I'm not here. I have too many good friends that I've made here on BYC to stay away for too long. If I disappear for a few days or weeks, I promise...I'll be back and haven't forgotten any of you dear people.

@lovesfarms, a G-Peg is a good option to help keep a person going while they are healing. I'm sure neither of you will have any problem with it.
