UPDATED PICTS BELOW OF 7 REMAINING PUPPIES (as of 10/19)

Located in North Carolina...

Helping out someone who took in two abandoned St. Bernard cross females that were both pregnant and in too poor of a condition to prevent the puppies so she has NINETEEN puppies that she desperately has to place so they will not have to go to a shelter and be put down (shelters are full in her area and she has contacted every rescue she could find with no luck).

I am taking 6 of the puppies to my farm hopefully this weekend (working on transport) and we are working on getting pictures of the full 19 needing a home. I will send these out once we get that organized.

Here are current picts I have, in case you know anyone interested. They are 8 weeks old and appear to be healthy and are very friendly, etc.

Please forward to anyone that might be interested or cross post anywhere this might get hits for good homes. They are free to good homes with an agreement to spay or neuter by or before 6 months.

Anyone interested in a puppy (or puppies) for both placement or fostering can email me at [email protected]

UPDATE AS OF 10/18:

We picked up ALL 18 remaining puppies she had yesterday (Sat) and I have already placed 8. I have 3-4 people already scheduled to come today to get one (assumuing no one flakes out and all end up to be approved homes).

We plan to retake pictures and get sexes identified of remaining puppies after today to get a more accurate listing of what is still available.

They are ALL absolutely ADORABLE. I initially was going to just foster 6 but with the distance away of the lady that initially had the puppies and the volume of responses I already received, I figured it would be easiest to just go ahead and get the whole group.

Definitely please cross post or forward to anyone that might be able to provide a good home or know of someone. I MUST have an agreement for spay/neuter by or before 6 months (www.SNAP-NC.org is a great organization for lower cost for this if that would help anyone. (I am going to be following up on this and this is not negotiable).

Folks also need to understand that this is a LARGE breed dog and there are extra costs associated with dogs such as this with food/vet costs (not to mention clean up)! But they are REALLY sweet puppies and although we do not know the fathers, the lady is keeping the mothers and said they are EXTREMELY sweet and very good temperament.

If only you were closer. I've had two saint mixes in the past and they were both wonderful dogs. My two outside dogs are 7 and 9 years old and I've been thinking it's time to start thinking about a pup.

When you find someone to take them to 1stepcloser. Send one (or more, I could foster) just a bit farther and across the border to Canada! They would love the cold weather! Hey I'll even come over to Detroit to get them!

Ohhh, they are adorable! I wish we were closer and could afford another dog

Any idea on the fathers' breeds? I think I see Shepherd and Pointer influence.

Yup a puppy rescue train! I've got from Detroit to toronto covered if they make it that far! Its actually not hard to get a pup acrossed the border a vet just has to give it an okay and sign some paper! I'd pay for it! Oh the dreams....

What does the mom look like? Pictures?

Any idea on the father?

I've been trying to convince my mom she needs a dog, there have been a rash of robberies on her street that last couple of years and all she has are two wimpy little lap dogs.
