Got kids right?

How about beautifully framed or scrapbooked pics for the family.

Or have the kids decorate white kitchen towels with their handprints?

You can purchase calendar kits at most crafts stores and use family photos for each month.

I once made recipe boxes and filled them with family favs and left plenty of space for them to add thier own.

Robin, Robin, Robin..... cookies in a jar - use spaghetti jars, layer dry ingredients, decorate the jar, attach the recipes with how much eggs, etc., instant gift. CHEAP too.

I've done that before... maybe dry soup ingredients in a jar this year?

There are all kinds of things in a jar that can be made for gifts. And for kids: Construction paper, glitter glue pens and sequins and pom poms, etc.
