3 dozen trader hoe fertile eggs

its the day i go pick up my grab bag of eggs, from a friend, they range from little seramas to jersey giants, with all sorts inbetween, sorda like the same eggs i had in my first incubation attemp which is covered in my sig below, and guess what all this 2 days before my birthday, yes my birthday is on monday. i will post pics up of my eggs when i get them tomorrow and once again i will have a story line just like my other 2 incubation attempts hope all goes well. I dont even know how many or what kind i am getting from her, as i calle dher earlier this week (i think monday) and asked her if she had any extra eggs, and she told me she was getting close to around 5 eggs a day, alot of her chickens went into the winter hybernation already, she has close to 50 chickens lol, but alot of them are not egg laying age yet, but anyways she said she will collect everything she can and i get all the eggs she gets as her cabinet incubator and her broody's already have a full nest too, so i am in a good mood to finally get back into the hatching spirit, i havnt hatch since like march or so i think

thank you thank you, i am very eggcited, it has been 8 months since i last set some eggs, its going to be so hard tho, since i havnt dont it in so long its like i have to learn all over agian but i remember alot of stuff and doing alot of new stuff this time like shelf liner on the wire bottom instead of the bare wire bottom, different waterers and alot of new things i learned, and all this is going to be in my bedroom yes in my bedroom including the incubator and brooder, the brooder is going to be a 6 foot fish tank with alot of room, its not going to be a measly brooder, its going to be a jungle jim for them in there lol, being so close to my birthday is just a bonus, i mean who cares about anything besides getting new hatching eggs lol

ok well here is some pics first of the eggs, second of the chickens it can come from,

also as you can tell i got some trader joes eggs to, so this will be a first for that , the reason being when the girl i got eggs from was bringing my eggs up to her house yesterday from her back yard/ chicken yard she dropped the basket and lost 13 eggs, so i said why not try and go with some TJ eggs i have heard other people hatch them so i will see how it goes

Here are the picks of the chickens the eggs could come from:
One of the 2 roosters

and a small group of them, there is around 50 chickens she has not including the 20 or so chicks she has, they all free range, you will also see some turkeys in the pics too

, and thanks everyone for all support

well out of my store bought eggs i have for sure atleast 3 devoloping, possibly another 4 or so, so i am good on those, so we will see if i actually have any of those hatch i really hope so, as for the others i wasnt really able to tell i need to pick up a new stronger flashlight because the one i have sucks lol but i will post another updats as soon as i can, i am off work for the next week so i will try to update as much as possible

well where do i begin...I have constantly candled the eggs and they dont seem to be doing so good alot of blood rings, but i do have atleast 4 of the trader joe eggs devoloping along with maybe 3 or 4 or more of the other free range eggs from a friend, but it all went wrong the night of Nov 28/ morning of Nov 29, cuz some time during the night around 1:30 am or so, the electricity went out. So when i finally woke up in the morning i was trying to figure out what to do, then i called up my brother who lives like 10 mins away and he said he got some where i can plug them in and keep him at his house since my electricity was still not on, so finally around 10:30 or so i finally start heading over there incubator and all, with temps of 60 degrees in the incubator, i thought i lost them all. but as we are driving up my brothers street i get a call from my sister who says electricity is back on. So i go to pull into a apartment complex to turn around and go back home, well as i was driving threw this complex i hit a bump and 1 of my 2 egg cartons in my incubator that had eggs in it tipped over and all the eggs went rolling and crashing together, so at this point i stopped the car and me and my mom set the eggs back up inside the incubator, she was riding with me in my passenger seat holding the incubator. well anyways i finally get home and plug the incubator back in, and also fill it with warm water to help raise the temp a lil better, even tho i thought i had lost all these little ones. But it just seems that some made in threw cuz last night i candled and i have atleast 2 possibly 3 trader joe eggs with movment still along with atleast 1 possibly 2 of the other eggs still with movement. But tonight will be my last night turning eggs and i will candle again to see what i can see, day 21 should be on sat or sunday so i will turn tonight and then flatten them out striat in the morn to let them set and fill with more water to raise up humidity, so all i ask if wish me luck, but i am already planning on setting again on saturday to hopefully get a day early chick from those eggs and have a christmas chick but we will see, or i might try quail eggs since they take shorter and start mid week to make them some christmas babies
but other then that here is a few pics of my brooder i set up, its preatty big, this is the first week set up, after this first week it will have shaving instead
