Keep your bator in a basement or room that is not used often to keep the temp as regulated as you can. Plug it in now so that you have plenty of time to get it set. Add water right away to, I found that when my bator ran out of water the temp would go up 1 to 3 degrees. Dont worry about the temp drop after adding the eggs, it will go back to the right temp as the eggs warm up. If you get your eggs first thing in the morning you could probably set them in the evening before going to bed, otherwise I would let them sit until the next morning. I dont turn my eggs for the first 24 hours after setting them to let them adjust and settle in the warmth. Use a water wiggler if you can find one, dont panick if you cant. If you have a temp rise or drop of 3 to 5 hours you still are ok, overnight might be another story. THE BIGGEST THING IS DONT WORRY..lol If they dont hatch try again, it takes a lot of practice to get it right and things can still go wrong. Good luck, Jenn
