One of my hens (Henny I think) laid her first egg today! This is my second hen to lay an egg as I am new to keeping chickens.
I am just wondering if the egg is ok as it has some markings on it..... almost looks like it got stuck partly out for a while! Is this ok or do I need to change something I am feeding them or doing?
Henny's first egg is the one on the right. Gertie's is the one on the left (been laying for 2 months).
See the markings?
