I do know that it is dead in the water.
Congress pulled its support and funding several weeks/months ago.

Wait until we get another poisonous source of meat,.If anthrax can be used by any mode of transportation even flying balloons with anthrax spores, then you can wait and see how the terriorists will act upon it and gov't will bring the NAIS back. this is not what I am looking forward to but glad it is in the water for now.

National animal identification system.
It requires all animals, backyard or not, to be tagged and monitered at all times.
Transport and sale would be highly controlled.
It is a way to kill off the little man.
The fees per animal would be awfull.

NAIS wouldn't have stopped terrorists anyway. Not when you have guys growing bio weapons in their basements. Laws only keep the honest people honest. Now I have seen an increase in agriterrorism training, so I'm hoping that is where they are redirecting their efforts. NAIS would have only served to put more small farms out of business and our economy can't handle that.

Doesn't it feel good when all those letters and emails you write get read... and not only read, but heard!!!! Thank God for this!
