THANK YOU all.

Here are a couple of pics of the chook shed I've been trying to build entirely from reclaimed and recycled materials (and without spending any money!). I always knew I'd have to spend a bit on galv wire for the run, but the total spend for the coop is AU$17.42 (for hinges/ roofing screws/ silicone/ lino roll-end).
I had no idea about coop design prior to this and I just wanted to say a huge thanks for the advice and inspiration from all BYC'ers. So here it is so far, still got the run to do and lots of tidying up, it ain't no mansion but quirky is ok right?

Note the well positioned hammock for chook watching in comfort

Once again thanks to all for the inspiration, I'll post more when the run is complete and the place is tidied up a bit!

Ranchand, someone saw the pipe and thought I'd put the chickens a wood-burning stove in!! It's a feeder which can be filled from outside the coop, made from sewer pipe offcut and an 88 degree elbow from a building site. Here's what it looks like from inside.
