Wry Neck Progression

Does anyone know what the progression of wry neck (I read that eventually it causes death if treatment doesn't work)?
 
yes it can cause dfeath as it is very hard for them to eat and drink. if you give them 2 capsuls of vitamin e (once in morning and once in evening ) and crushed selenium (in food or water (I make a probiotic mash of yogurt, vitamin e, selenium, and some milk and shredded apples and some starter feed all blended together) if you make sure they eat this everyday you should see them get better in about a week, as it takes a while for them to turn around. I tried everything on one of mine, but nothing worked. A year later we call her crooked neck and she lays just fine. Her neck was more to the side so eating and drinking isn't a problems for her.

Mine is having seizures or something...not just the head tilt...it's genetic so I am not sure if the vitamins are helping.
 
Mine had seizure type spells also. A br, I named her Rye!
I did vitamins and I even tried a course of antibiotics but it wasn't until I gave her an injection of vit B12 into her breast that I seen tremendous improvement. That was in December and I gave her another one in January. She has been almost perfect ever since. She seems to look at you a bit sideways, but I can live with that. Knock on wood, I hope that was her cure.
When she was in bad shape, it seemed hopeless. If you have a bit more energy, hang in there a bit longer. It takes time. I thought it was some sort of a defect too, but low and behold, all this stuff seemed to help.
 
OK! That's sounds hopeful! Where do I get it? Going to google for injectable B12! How much do you use? In the breast?
 
I'll stop by 2 on my way home from work - 3 if necessary (3rd is a TSC). Any special type/strength, etc? The seizures are so disturbing, I just don't know how much longer I should put her through this. She eats fine, but cannot walk really, just squats...and the seizures last for sometimes 15 - 20 minutes after which she is spent for hours recovering/sleeping. I am going to check her next time for being in a coma, we haven't been distubing her after episodes.
