Help Urgent Silkie Pullet Expelling Uterus - UPDATE!!!

PLEASE HELP! URGENT!!

my silkie pullet is trying to lay her first egg, it's giant and stuck halfway out covered in her uterus!!!

she is in pain!

egg cannot exit the body it's trapped in red film what should i do!!!

egg is halfway out and won't move

HELP!

Does it look inverted and is it internal skin or clear
Use some vasoline see if you can find an edge on the film to slid one way or another but dont break the egg
 
I took a sterilized knife and cut a slit in the membrane to let the egg out (it did not break), disinfected with alcohol and she bled a bit, now her insides are trying to be expelled by her vent, a huge red mass - i don't know what to do!!
 
No, do not cut anything. Do you have any pictures? Are you sure it's her uterus? Do you have any mineral oil? Are you able to get any inside? That will loosen things up and maybe she can push it out on her own.

I would put her in a warm bath and give her some aspirin.
 
I'm not sure what you can do. Try searching the Emergencies section here for stuck egg ~ I know I have seen others in the past. I would NOT put her down without trying something.


Anyone with experience with this?
