I've never used it but I rarely hear any thing good about it either.

what brand of eggs was the egg you got from safeway, that you are using as your test egg? Were they free range eggs or not?
And I think it will be fine, are you using this as a hatcher or an incubator for the test egg? For a hatcher I think it would work better, rather than having it in there all 21 days

I have never heard of a good hatch from those. Do you know R-com has a tiny one, too?

can u make one
or just leave it in the one that you have right now just adjust the humidity back down when you are done
