The inside of the main compost bin....had what seemed to be a lot of moisture so I added a couple scoops of sawdust and some earthworms.....for rich nutrients later

Thanks Jen.....I just thought I'd use what I could instead of it just sitting there for no reason

Went out today and our onions are sprouting up like crazy.....fresh rain is so good for plants.

OOoo I cant wait to get back into the garden! We have our lil water bed thing going where we starts most of our seeds... grow baby grow!

Isn't Spring WONDERFUL????? We are in Oklahoma and always have heavy Spring rains and if you don't time it just right, you will miss out on the cool crop planting times because of the conditions being too wet! This year I made sure I was ahead of the curve..........preparing all the beds the early part of January with my wonderful mix of horse and chicken manure!

Proud to anounce that potatoes, peas, lettuce, onions, garlic, cabbage, brussel sprouts, carrots, chinese cabbage, all all up and about three - five inches tall. I also intermitently plant various lettuces amongst my flower beds to feed to the chickens.......that is there very favorite time of the year, as well!

HAPPY GROWING TO EVERYONE:yiipchick
